prasamin
Noooobody!!!! No one's been brave enough to try them out. On a side note, can you safely run 20-21psi on stock internals?not with a st chipyou need to add more fuel to the mix, but it's possible. your stock turbo definitely can't handle it though. way out of a TD04 efficiency range. Jacob
I talked to Oliver and I am about to drive out to Speed Tuning on Monday. I have but one question: Why does ST state 160->192 hp, while Upsolute states 160->202 hp? Is there an actual difference? Or is Upsolute just being 10hp more optimistic? If I can really get 10 HP for an extra $45 ($325 VS $370) I will so go for it, but something looks fishy here.
Karlson
I don't think there is a differece, I belive that all companies lie about gains. like you gain 3hp with K and N drop-in filter. This time ST was more realistic about gainsPras,Andy(mayday) was running 20-21 psi on his stock turbo and he was fine, but thats too much risk
JHEIII874T5M
I've pushed 24-26 PSI through a conical 15G and straight outlet 16T, Ben has done the same with spray on a straight outlet 16T... these turbos can't bend rods once your past 4K RPM.The more boost, the less power once you hit like 18 psi.You get some pretty whacky torque figures though ;)
WhiteT5
I've read that the surge point on these turbo's is somewhere around 27 PSI. If you do that for long, you'll have a bit more than air and fuel entering the cylinders.

whatme
yah, thats what torque steer said. He said that with stock downpipe that anything above 18psi didnt increase power, but he said he could feel alot bigger difference up to 20 psi with the 3 in downpipe. To bad i wont be getting a new downpipe for a while...yah, thats what torque steer said. gatecrasher
..... 9.20's @153+ mph. thats whyi bought the bike to drag hard parts though...not to drag race. the main reason for the bottle is that alot of us run on the freeways around here, including several VERY fast cars. theres actually a video that got spread all over the place of me running the most powerful Mitsu EVO in the world (its now making 950whp, at the time i ran him he was making 630whp. i put ~10 lengths on him on motor from a 80-180mph roll). the bottle isnt usually on the bike unless im planning to spray it. it still made 164 on a loaded dynojet on motor.anyway, sorry to kinda hijack the thread. if you wanna know anything else just pm me
Volvoboi24
I dont know about you guys... I got the ST 17PSI chip on my C70, ran the dyno... got AFR's between 13-17?? car ran like crap until I got larger injectors... have any of you other ST guys get better AFR's? I've only seen iPD, Upsolute with really rich AFRs... ST I dont think I have seen any...20PSI on the ST chip on my car = death

gatecrasher
R1 + N2O + freeway racing = where hot dogs come frombe careful man....its understood. we dont take any "unnecessary" risks.....but its a given that sht can go wrong. just something you accept. keep in mind these are isolated 4 lane roads at 1-3am.not to mention.....the R1 honestly isnt as violent as youd think on the nitrous. its a dry kit so it doesnt hit as hard as a wet system would. it will still pull the front tire on the throttle at anything below 150-160mph though. whatme
Darn....im proud of my measley 94 hp i mustered out of the SV. But then again my power is everywhere from 4-9000 rpm. Those litter bikes are just like an on off switch. In the hands of a good rider my bike can smoke almost any bike out there on a track, to bad i wouldnt qualify myself as a good rider.
