Serge Posted March 3, 2006 Report Share Posted March 3, 2006 For my carpc, I have chosen the Alpine MRP-F200. It's a 4 channel 360W amp. I've been told the older Alpine stuff is good, so I got this one. I got it stupidly cheap and it works fine powering my Dolby Digital subwoofer at my computer (hits stupidly hard).BTW: I'm going to use cat5 to run the speaker wiring from my trunk to the connections where the old deck was. I've heard properly braided cat5 is really good. I'll be using two pairs for each speaker, meaning I need to only run two cat5 cables to the front. Is that going to yield good sound?
