Guest BenW from Vacation
I sweated for a long time worrying about where in the heck to put these things and how I was going to mount them and such. Well, you gotta start somewhere and after about 5 hours of tinkering and hole cutting and drilling and such, I have them mounted. ON the 850 the Image Dynamics Horn Loaded Compression Driver reside under the dash with the front edge right at the crease where the under dash trim starts to slope up.I think they look pretty good. I went ahead and fed them the factory tweeter signal as a stopgap while I get amps mounted and wired. The sound could be worse, could be better, so im not worried. Supprisingly, they dont sound like coffee cans mounted under the steering column. So thats good. Will post mounted pics tomorrow and specific how i did it later on. Also got my amps and eq center mounted and im happy with that too. So now all we need is wiring and a signal and we're good to go.Oh yeah, and that darn sub enclosure. Crap, something else to think about now Peace,B en
