steve s
so the tailgate had fallen apart (i once bought the repair kit, but was told it already had it, so sold it to 3rd party, now i find it was never repaired, anyway...), i got it fixed... while at it, i did the dynamat extreme on the tailgate... seems to have made it a little more quiet in the rear... probably a combination of the two...so i went and did three of the four door panels...i got tired by the end of it...i'll do the 4th later... the car sounds a bit quieter than b4... placebo or not... i thought it worked thanx for the heads up bing! so i guess i recommend it if u have some time and wish to keep an 850, wagons especially, a little quieter..btw... just how do u take that stuff off (be it dynamat or peel n seal) if it ever needed to be removed..? Veneficus
I messed up with peel and seal when I was putting it on my trunk lid... I was able to get it off with an exacto knife and a lot of patience since I was trimming it to the precut liner's form. After I got it off I used some goo gone to remove the left over residue. Take note: this was maybe only 1 hour after I had put the stuff down so after a long time of sitting in the heat of the summer it probably will become much harder to remove. --- Brian
