8G5L0T Posted March 10, 2006 Author Report Share Posted March 10, 2006 The problem lies here, my parents are pretty uptight and wouldnt be thrilled if i did anything like gettting a new muffler but i could do air intake maybe by a chip and get a manuel boost gauge. Look over all of your intercooler piping for tears or holes. A cheap mechanical boost gauge can probably be had for around $35 or so. Intake is not going to do much of anything except make more noise. The Samco intercooler hose kit would be a wise investment. I think they are going for a little under $200 these days. Cheap chip would run you $350. Look through the pinned topics in the performance section for all info on stage 0. I hope you have a fat wallet for a teenager that lives with your parents or if not, you'll want to get a job. Getting these cars up to spec and adding on mods is not cheap by the standards of most.
