droot Posted March 11, 2006 Report Share Posted March 11, 2006 I just finshed putting on my new samco turbo hoses and It's great. First they look great second the car is so much more resposive I definetly gain some power back from my old ratty hoses that have been on the car since 1995. If any of you haven't already done this it's by far a great way to gain back some power than you may be losing finally stage 0 is complete. I only have vacum hoses left to do. WARNING Joke COMING!Now Greenchunks, I've heard about the way you drive. My advice is, if you do not push so hard with your RIGHT foot your mileage will improve by as much as 50%. And it will save on the brake pads too. Slamming on the gas and then slamming on the brakes at the next light to impress the girls is great. Honestly, he drives more aggresivly than I do. I'll admit the first year I had my license I drove like that, but that was 4 years ago, and the car was stock then, and I got 20 mpg on the 740. I rarely go over 3K rpm driving around town, and have the car in economy. When I bought it, it was getting 19-20 mpg around town and 25 freeway, I drove it hard for a few days and the mileage dropped to 19 instead of high 19's, that's it. Not the bs 12 mpg I've been getting. So please, unless you have some constructive advice(which would be really nice) please stop perpetuating this false accusation doug has made about me. Sorry to bring this off topic.Also, the car is a piece, no girls would find it appealing to see some douche drive by fast, I think that's retarded way to try and show off to girls.
