mikie
I currently have HD's and EST springs. I'm thinking of switching to Konis Sports(yellow) or Konis FSD. The HD's are awsome they were really rough but have broken in now (much smoother) but still rough on cracks and harsh roads. Seems like most prefer konis and maybe I'll get a little more of a drop. Gregg
aren't the koni fsd only supposed to be used with stock springs?

blown_volvo850r
Koni Yellows actually raise the car a half inch from where it sits on stock struts/shocks. They're nice tho, those and some H&R or B&G springs would be a good setup.

They're stiff alright, plus they're adjustable. And u can definitely tell a difference b/t the settings.
RAzOR
I have Konis and Eibach and the ride is really good. And Koni Yellows DO NOT increase ride height. Improper installation does.
Aequitas_Veritas
aren't the koni fsd only supposed to be used with stock springs?yes they are. I would personally wait a month or two and see the kit pras is coming out with, thats what im doing. If it dosnt turn out to be that good then im gonna go with the weitecs. mikie
If you think 15's hurt...don't change your suspension or your tires.I didn't mean that 15's "hurt", just at times over certain bumps it's a tad harsh and I'm not complaining about that just thinking about the future once I get 18's and how it will get harsher, how much I don't know (bareable or not). But if I did find that my setup with 15's "hurt" and could not deal with it I WOULD change my suspension, resolving the problem. They are less harsh setups then HD's and EST springs... td1
aren't the koni fsd only supposed to be used with stock springs?I have been reading reviews on the fsd over on Vortex. They say as long as you dont drop it more than a inch of stock ride height and springs are comparable, you should be fine.
ViperVettte
Weitecs... the springs and shocks/struts are matched for each other. You'll get the best ride and handleing out of them.
