blown_volvo850r
I was joking about the camoLol I KNOW! Well...let's see...Black w/ white lettering looks half-done, like u were too lazy to paint them so u just threw on a sticker instead.Black w/ red lettering looks a bit better, but unless it's up close, it's gonna look like a super chipped up red caliper.Red w/ white lettering looks both upgraded for quality performance, and the sticker is an added bonus.Matching the platinum color would look really clean, like u're going for a good look while still keeping the car looking stock. And hot pink...well hot pink on the Burton Dominants and on pink shirts is totally acceptable, but I wouldn't do it on the calipers. :P
steve s
black with red letters would be difficult to read. if u go black, pick a bright colored letter. any of the regular colors like red, blue, green would not show up remotely with some brake dust. 96PlatinumEdition850
Alright, after a little thinking today because I wanted to paint my rims anthracite but I think everyone is right that bright silver would be a better way to go. How about I paint my rims bright silver and do red calipers and then call it a day.

lextildeath
I know NO one will agree with my setup- folia-tec lime green to match Greenstuff pads that show through so it looks as one bigger unit, + brushed aluminum VOLVO decals so it looks official. Took a big risk, but I love it.But, I don't suggest this for yours. I'm thinking red, then a silver rectangle within it, and then a red VOLVO decal within that. You'd spend more time and tape it off, but it'd be intricate and different. Or all silver, with red decals. The all red is a wanna be Brembo IMO. BeachRat
I did mine black, too many people say it doesnt' stand out though! I personally like the clean, subtle look that black or silver provide. If you're looking for flashy, go for Red or Gold though!
97Rwagon
What color is the car? For instance... blue calipers wouldnt look very appealing on a red car.

whitev70r
Red dude. The only reason why people paint calipers is to get noticed, why would you go with black?AND ... hey, how come you have persus wheels off the AWD on your car?
96PlatinumEdition850
Red dude. The only reason why people paint calipers is to get noticed, why would you go with black?AND ... hey, how come you have persus wheels off the AWD on your car?I painted my calipers a while ago and I painted them red. I like it, I haven't put silver lettering on them yet but I think I will just so they look more official. I didn't take the AWD wheels off an AWD and put them on mine, the Platinum Edition came with 16 inch Persus wheels. They don't bother me but they aren't my cup of tea.
