slarti
Alright, I'll try the instant start.I'll check the terminals again, we did wire up a 2-way radio directly to the battery not too long ago.
slarti
Checked the relay, took it apart. Mechanically looks ok, no char marks on the board. I'm going to try and swap it with one thats in my car.Terminals look good, resecured all the wires on both terminals. Will try the instant start today. Artie
Fuel..Check the rail pressure, find the valve that looks like a tire valve and press in on it while the key is on. Should have fuel come out.Air...Make sure you don't have a bird in your intake...lolSpark...Just pull a plug wire off and put a tester in-line and see if there is spark.Timing..Make sure the cam is turning via the oil cap hole.Basic Troubleshooting
slarti
I've already checked the timing, spark, and fuel did come out of the rail, but it didn't seem like it was under pressure. Should there be some spray or should it just pour out a bit?
slarti
I checked the fuel rail again, no fuel at all. Checked the voltage at the pump I get 12v for a few seconds after the key is turn to the "on" position and then nothing? Is that normal? Also, it doesn't sound like the pump turns on when I turn the key. I'm guessing its a bad pump at the moment. Any input is appreciated. Thanks. Guest Guest
12V at the pump for about 5 seconds is normal, but the pump should run.Try jumpering 12V directly to the pump if it won't run you've found the problem.
