red c70
Has anyone else here with the ht2.3 ltr or even the lt turbo engine had any problems with the dipstick "popping" itself loose on startup? This has happened to me a couple times now and if I don't check under the hood frequently, I'll find an engine sprayed with oil. Let me know your thoughts on this issue. And if you are noticing any rust on the dipstick this would also be indicative of a PCV system that needs a good cleaning. The banjo fitting under the intake and the smallest of the 3 lines that lead from it are usually the problem areas. You will probably have to remove the intake to do it unless you're double-jointed and really talented with a nice set of small ratchets.Good Luck! :)
