JoshV70
Take it to a body shop, pay them lots and lots of money, and pray.
trance42
can you get the painted side trim instead of the grey trim that fades
Patrick.
I'm thinking that x70 trim does fit on an 850 if I'm not mistaken
Figawi
yes it will pat. i think you'll need to do a lot of custom work and its not worth the $. i thought about doing it but realized i would need a new hood, headlights, upper and lower valances, grille, and front fenders. in addtion i would need all the side trim and rear bumper trim painted. not worth the money IMO but if you want to do it you'll need all of that stuff. i really dont see why you can't just put the lower valance on the upper valance of an 850 but i guess it doesn't fit (according to others on the board). prasamin
moulding the lower valence onto the 850 upper trim piece is possible with a skilled body shop guy. I thought about doing this too, and am still considering it. Just need to borrow a V70R bumper for a couple of days to take it over to my body shop and have him look at it. Ben H
I ahve been dreaming of this for a lonnng timeMy idea has always been to cut the V70R bumper at the groove (where the greay 850 plastic would start) and some how attatch it.Then I realized there were clips along the top of the 850 air dam that wouldnt be on the V70 one if i cut it. So my thought was to then canabalize two bumpers....leave a few inches from the top of the 850 bumper and plastic weld it to a cut version of the V70.However...I dont have the time, money, tools or experiance. I WOULD destroy two air dams if i tried!! hahahBest of luck to anyone who does it!Ben
S70 R
should be the same.... just neet to paint the rest of the trim body color
larryo108
You would need everything Andrew said. It can be done, but would cost money. You can do like Pras suggested though. Nick Choy did it and mounted a V70R bumper on his 745 (I think it was a 745). Looked good as hell.I am in the opposite boat. I would love to mount the 850 VST front bumper on my 98 V70R. That would be money.
