You dont have to use a turbo that spools at 2500....bigger turbo with serious A/R will make sure you're not making huge torque under 4000 revs, boost control can do the rest

that's all fine and good, but unless the torque needed to make 350whp isn't made till way up high (and i guarantee on our 2.3litre, dohc motors, a big turbo will spool WAY before 4000rpm) he's going to be doing the "J-beam rod" mod.

Just do boost control like I'm doing

I have a 4500-7200 powerband, boost builds progressively to 15-16 psi by 5500 and holds to redline.

This car is the torque high, shift high wonder, and its a completely stock longblock except GLT cams (which aren't all that aggressive).

well yeah, i mean that answers the OP's question, but not if he's running the auto that shifts at like 5800rpm lol
