pennybridge pioneer Posted March 27, 2006 Report Share Posted March 27, 2006 You dont have to use a turbo that spools at 2500....bigger turbo with serious A/R will make sure you're not making huge torque under 4000 revs, boost control can do the restthat's all fine and good, but unless the torque needed to make 350whp isn't made till way up high (and i guarantee on our 2.3litre, dohc motors, a big turbo will spool WAY before 4000rpm) he's going to be doing the "J-beam rod" mod.
