Car Bras

i had some time last night to fit a bra on my S80; i bought it on a lark :) and i had a little time to clean it up before the kids started fighting, and daddy had to put the car away this morning :( i know all the horrors of bras and poor maintenance; let's just pretend i take care of it. i don't have a front plate so i'll need a decorative plate to plug the hole (i have a black one with the volvo icon on it... not real pleased with that though the best thing about the bra is it takes the bright chrome look away from the grill which i may do anyway) opinions welcome!

Pleeease take it off.... makes it look like an old Nissan Altima. If you're concerned about protecting the paint up there, look into a clear bra, which I am very much considering myself since I just found the first rock chip on my new hood that was given a fresh coat of paint a year and a half ago :( .

yeah, i've seen the clear ones; i like them. other than blacking the grill and clear bra, what else to get out of this experiment. (and yes it's coming off, but i have to admit i like the full frontal picture at least)

As long as you only have it on the car for those long road trips to go visit the folks, you're alright. Asthetically speaking, bras only look good in two places: wrapped around a pair of gorgeous boobies, or crumpled on your bedroom floor in the morning. Your car is neither of those two.

The invisi-bra will run you about $300; some places even do film for the headlights, too. That's the option if you want consistent protection.

Ultimately, it's your car. People can hate the bra all they want, it's still your car. My biggest thing is: when are you going to take it off and show off the beautiful paint it's protecting? To your neighbors while it sits in the driveway?

okok, it's off now, don't worry (came off easy). i was just suprised it fit, and all the holes lined up (although there was a tab or two that coudn't insert where they were intended to go) having seen earlier disasters :) now that it's finally warming up around here, i can start detailing again. ive had the bra since november and never tried it on. personally i prefer braless in Beachrats examples :) :) (darn those blasted hooks!).

thanks for the feedback, i didn't think it was going to fly, so no dreams crushed :) what i really need to to do is scope out those Peg's and "R" break kits.

man take that joke off....also, if u get a little bit of any kinda small debris in there under that bra, every time it moves it will do damage to paint underneath, so instead of 'protecting" it, ud do more damage, and plus it looks extra stupid. i rather have few rock chips, than drive w that ugly thing on anyways. u can take care of little rock chips w some touchup paint anyways
