It was the first of what I consider a really nice day. A perfect day to try out the clay bar kit I bought about 2 months ago. Although the pictures don't give it too much justice, (and Im ot trying to talk myself up) it really looks stunning in person.

The procedure:

Hand wash with Mothers Cali Gold

Hand dry with absorber

Use clay bar from Maguiars kit

Wipe car down, and let dry with Maguiars towel

Apply wax with terry cloth pad, and buff off old white t-shirt

Apply Maguiars Detail spray and buff off with Maguiars towel

Apply Back to Black

Apply GLass cleaner and wipe

Apply Tire black stuff

The car is looking nice Rod

Was there a lot of crap on the clay bar from the paint?

Nope

When I did the roof, which was a pain in the butt, since I am about 5'-5", I noticed the clay bar got a little dirty, but for the most part, it was pretty clean. The most noticeable difference was in the way the paint felt. It went from kinda squeaky to smooooooooth and soft.

I just went out and rubbed it down again because I love the way it feels under the towel

My arms are shot, though. I need to hit the Gym!!!

First off might I add... your hard work payed off for sure man, looks awesome!

That's lowered too :P Lowered from XC status at least, to just regular R AWD.

and secondly... WHO LOWERS A XC!!:lol::lol:

That actually is a pretty good idea though, seeing how the XC has more HP then the T5!!

Thank you guys. I just got home from a music shop and parked all the way in the back...and while I was walking into the store, I kept having to glance back...haha...love it!

As far as the winter wheels being on, I am waiting for some tires for the Pegs...I hope to have them on for next Saturday for the Dino Meet in CT (fingers crossed).

...and it may go a little lower; we'll see...but black trim and XC bumpers are definately where its at
