x.data Posted April 4, 2006 Report Share Posted April 4, 2006 it seems to me that this is a major PITA to remove. its located behind the pocket in the trunk seems to be mounted from the outside. is there any simple way of taking this out? going to go all aftermarket. speakers... amp... all (and for those of u that remember my shame of the bazooka tubes they r gone!!) Its actually not that hard. Take the antenna out first, the the remaining bolts, the amp is actually bolted onto that mounting harness. So it looks brutal, but its pretty easy. I did it in like 10 min. Good luck with the rest of the speakers, you'll especially have fun with the tweeters in the dash. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
