I was speaking more along the lines of double layer 5%. What you have is 20%, I believe? That's not so bad. However, more than I would do.

Your door ding is my rain rails!

yeah, 5 is WAYY too much tint, i just have 20.

yours looks super nice man, quality job for sure.

Thanks.

Any local members looking to get tinted are welcome to come on down. So far, Brandon has done two 854s and two 855s. One of each being my own. So he's pretty well aquainted with Volvos. :) He mainly works with buildings and has many, many contracts with both local State and Federal agencies, though.

Anyone interested can just PM me.

You at least have to acknowledge that he is thinking "out of the box" if you will.

My idea of what a Volvo is tends to be pretty different than what most people on VS think. In a way, I happen to like it that way. :)

agreed

I just want to address this, please do not take offense. But take a quick look at the customer cars in my shop. Do you really think I would be rolling on some lame stockers? My other cars do, but that car is at the shop most of the time. My customers, who look at my car while making their purchases, have $10,000, $20,000, and even $30,000+ purely into customization.

When someone asks me about the wheels or system at a gas station, that's 1,000 times better advertising than the Explorer we have plastered with the shop's information. They now know someone there. I can actually put my card in their hand and talk to them about what the vision for their car is.. FAR more than a vinyl decal can do. Granted, the truck has eight 10's, big rims, and lots of TVs, but the point should be clear, regardless.

Those rims are actaully sweet! Are the spinners? I saw almost identical rims to that, with the top layer chrome, and the bottom layer colormatched on like a light green Jag once... they were crazy sick. It was a S type, like right when they came out, with ... 20s? Maybe bigger, but 20 minimum.

I would say keep it pimpin' meng! The rain rails are the ones in the forground in the one picture though right? Your not talking about the car that just got tint are you? Also, I agree with you about the tint. On green cars it works, but other dark colors, I say keep it clear... even though I'll prolly tint mine up eventually.

Yes, they do indeed spin. They are custom drilled Bellagio spinners. The lack of depth due to my poor camera makes them seem very flat. Oh well. Soon, they're going to be remote controlled via my Compustar key fob that handles all of the other remote functions (windows up/down, heat on/off, start etc). It should be a first.

The rain rails are the ugly silver bars on the roof of my car. The black material was peeling, so I just ripped most of it off. I have been undecided for some time now about if I want to return them to black, or polish them as JHE and BlackT5 have done.

I need a good shot of how the rear window looks. Covering the third break light has done wonders for the look of the rear. It's a must that all the grey trim be blacked out now, though.

is that a W7 in the back of that hatchback? Those rims remind me of the Biship Don Juan "green for the money, gold for the honies"

I know there was a thread with the Magnum in it, but i'm thinking 13W7, but i could be wrong.

Owned, the car looks sweet! I would have gone 20%, but that's just me!
