SkyWriter Posted April 7, 2006 Report Share Posted April 7, 2006 backspacinig - is the distance from the wheel mounting surface to to the innermost mounting edgeoffset - is is the distance of the wheel rim to the center mounting flangeso backspace is from the inside mounting surface to the mounting plane, and offset is the difference between that mounting surface to the tire center (as defined by the inside and outside flanges).
