That is the EXACT gauge I bought with a different color bezel. Come to find out they have about 9 different colored ones to chose from and different styles too!!

How much did it cost? In any event get an Autometer from Egauges.com it will look a whole hell of a lot better, also be more accurate.

Called Gaffrig, sent a email with the pic of the gauge. I was told it's a knock off. SON OF A B*TCH!!! Logo gave it away to the guy I spoke with.

Making counterfeits of brands that no one has ever heard of is all the rage these days.

Rob knows everything.

Back on topic though, who cares what name is on it as long as it is accurate and doesn't quit working in 6 months.

Egg-salad!!

Gaffrig, apparently is very well known in the boat racing world ie: cigar boat racing / Foutain Power boats. Here is a picture of a console from Foutain Power boats web site and a quote from the same page.

A complete array of high-quality Gaffrig Instruments, including a tachometer, oil pressure, water pressure, oil temperature, volt meter, fuel gauge and liquid-filled speedometer, wrap around the wheel in an unobstructed semicircle for at-a-glance visibility at all speeds. All onboard systems are equipped with both audible and visual alarm systems to warn of potential problems.

I am very new to these gauges also, I found what I thought was a decent gauge at a good price and won it. I am doing some reverse engineering research wich is the wrong way to do research on an item you want to buy, but at least I am becomming more knowledgeable about the company, what they sell, and how it performs.

The real test will be once it is installed and I get real world experince with said gauge. Right now everything in this thread "expescially my info", is just hear say. Untill I hook it up and see how it works, it just "looks real good on paper".
