Asinine
Here's a flashback to my first attempt at removing my hitch i think around november or something...Attempt 1 - Tied to a treeAttempt 2 - Chained to a phone poleAttempt 3 - Come along'd to the phone poleAnd while I'm posting pics...My parents car graveyard (I realized today that my parents have 8 cars and a boat at that house - my car doesn't live there)...Check out this stance... the come along almost started pulling the car backwards with NO movement on the hitch

Asinine
unbolting is still in the cards, and will probably be the eventual solution, or taking kevin's advice then having a new square part welded in, or possibly selling the whole unbolted thing to Graydon.. but probably not!?Yes heat is key, but i don't have a lift, and it's dangerously close to the bumper!?i'm still not too stressed.. i need the hitch in the next 3 weeks to launch a boat and do some hauling at my buddies cottage! bloc
you should try pulling along the axis of the straight part of the hitch.. right now it's levering the thing down and wedging in there even more.
