fastboy
I'm really not down with giving people on the streets money. They busted some old shakey lady in Toronto last year who lived in a huge house and had phat cash who had been panhandling for a looooooong time. One day a reporter followed her and sure enough the old lady gets into a new car and drives home..... BUSTED......

patrick
charleston has a huge homeless population for its size. theres about 25 bums who "live" within a block of our apartment since we're right downtown, we have our own personal bum though, for the small price of a king cobra he'll wash your car, carry your bags, give you the next day's newspaper at your door or pretty much anything else you want. When you get to know the homeless people they really are interesting people with often interesting stories. Most of the ones here are alcoholics and/or addicted to crack. Our bum actually has a daughter who i met once, shes like 9. he stopped drinking for 2 weeks and saved all his change to buy her some shoes, then he went back to drinking. at least hes honest though. Its in souther california in Riverside county. I used to live like 20 minutes away from it. When i was in middle shcool we watched a "Cops" episode about drugs, and they busted like 4 meth labs in neighborhoods that I recognized. Qual Valley is know to be the nations capitol for meth labs.
