I would not say it's no IPD or EST. We have no real way of telling if it is or not.

I think of the other chips avaiable for our cars the top 3 would be:

RICA

BSR

MTE

And even then I cant be certin.... I wish I new more people with chipped cars that are close to me.

But at around 200.00 you cant beat the bang for your buck factor.

oh totally, even with the small vacuum leak i can feel the extra power and the extra boost is a deffinite improvement as well.

How much are boosting? got a gauge? I wonder if it is the same amount as mine.

gauge is on the way soon...first i wanna get the vacuum leak completely fixed that way if something happens during the install of the gauge i know it must be the gauge and not some other problem...

got a gauge yet?

both, its a remap for the ecu. if it only added psi it would run lean and damage the engine. if you only want psi get a MBC for a hole lot cheaper.

OK I just got my volvo and a remaped ecu for that price is sounding really nice to me. Any idea where I can get another ecu for cheap, so I don't have down time, its my daily driver and I drive it daily. What kind of mileage are you getting on the remaped ecu?

InMotion has raised there prices another $100 since this thread was started. They are sold on ebay.

*Update 02/08/2007*

I have replaced vaccum lines, regapped my spark plugs, and a couple other little things that need to be repaired/replaced and a MBC.

On a nice cold dry morning with the engine just up at temp........ 18psi then levels off at around 15-16psi. On a crappy day with a hot motor about 13-16psi. The computer really retards the timming and what ever else that needs to be adjusted.

So to recap:

stock 855-t

Stylin hose kit

New vaccum lines

New gas cap

New oil filler cap

Regapped plugs

MBC almost set to the max setting

On average between 14-17 psi

Low ~ 12psi

High~ 18psi

My car says 19.3 mpg on 93 octane and 18.1 on 89 octane per tank full

Cost for the chip to my house was $185.00. Time it took from my door step to inmotion and back was less than 5 days but I sent it out via 3day priority mail and it was shipped back overnight (I think).

Still the best bang for the buck mod I have done thus far.

Still no CEL codes from the chip or any other proplem, sans the need for two front tires...

I went with InMotion too and am happy with it. I'm using a MBC and before doing this with the stock ECU (stock '95 855T), if I boosted too high (over ~13psi) I'd hit fuel/ign cutoff, get a CEL with overboost code. Now I can boost to 16 psi, no problems. Great bang for the buck compared to IPDs @ $800.

I submitted an offer of $170 which was accepted outside of Ebay via e-mail plus $14 to ship one way, free return shipping. Had the ECU back in less than 1 week.
