damn, if it was plug and play, I might consider it! i wish it was just a freakin harness that you could plug in and then use all that! all the relays and stuff come with it? wow.

Comes with every thing you need for a full install, yes.

This would take a few hours to install, I do it in about 1-1.5, so the average Joe is looking at 2-3.

I can also give you a list of Compustar authorized installers (including myself, if you're local) who can install this for you. If you have a desiel, it has to at least be brought to an installer for the starting delay to be set, but you could do the rest yourself. The reason being is that there is a control box the installers have which is needed to interface with the timing controlls on the unit. I wouldn't think many guys would even charge for this. It takes maybe 5 minutes.

Also, btw, you get one LCD and one standard (button only) key fob. Keep one at home with your spare key. Each keypad can control 2 cars.

Adam, what does a certified shop usually charge to install this?

The thing is, prices vary quite a bit from East to West. West being the most expensive area in the country. I think on your coast you may see something like $250-$350. I sold one of these to Bing and he just had it installed by a Compustar dealer, I bet you'll pay something similar to what he did. Shoot him a PM. He added proxy, though, so keep that in mind as it should be slightly less without the proxy install.

Also, I can give you a list of contact info for your area so you can check out your options.
