Mike H.
I was approached by a wheel manufacturer that makes quite a few popular brand names of wheels (one of them being the forged Neuspeed wheel line) and was asked how the Volvo aftermarket is doing. I told them that the new S40 are starting to be popular as well as the P2 Rs (that's where I came in) but there's a quite a bit of interest for wheels for the P1 models. Obviously I told him that price was a big factor in getting interest, hence this thread. I'm trying to get a feel what you guys would consider a FAIR price for a set of of wheels - let's assume 18s. The poll is set up as cost PER wheel. Please no BS comments cuz I'm not going to waste my time nor the wheel manufacturer's time. Designs are still to be determined but at this time we are determining price. I hope this thread gets a lot of traffic. The more input I get, the more it helps for the wheel manufacturer to see if there interest and incentive for them to continue and pursue this. HPTDoh
gotta pay to play.I agree.. That's (mostly) why I kept my stock wheels, as opposed to buying the bottom shelf crap I can actually afford! haha
prasamin
i'd stay in the $250 range. i got my Tritons for a steal, let's just put it that way.
Gregg
depends on the weight and finish of the wheels. I would pay up to $500 per wheel if the design is good, the finish is strong, and the wheels are lightweight: < 20 lbs per wheel

Mike H.
I'll talk to them and see what kind of designs they have in mind for the Volvos.
Owned
As someone who's paid $1,500 on a wheel, I'm not too good of a judge. I think $250-$300 is very accurate, in terms of the people who can be found on VS, anyways. That's roughly the cost of 18 inch pegs, is it not? Take a look at the number of people running those and you have your proof.
