USMC850T
Ok driving back from a Saab dealership (my bro is pickin up a 900se turbo) I see a black porche weavin through traffic behind us. I figured he might like to play with us so I hit a hole and get out in front of the grouping of traffic. He spurts through and starts to accellerate hard, I started accellerating as soon as I saw him change lanes to pass me. We were very even inspite of the jump he got on me. He was pulling very slowly and managed to get about 4 feet past my front bumper when I had to jump behind him to avoid another car. For whatever reason he decided to be a douche nozzle and did like 5 brake checks, good thing I have great brakes. After he was done with his brake checks he sped off. This is a definate moral victory :Now time for water injection........

stu.f
The classic flat six, you don't even need to look up when you hear it to reconize them. The guy is probably just jelous that a car half its price was keeping pace with him.
Black95-850T5R
Was it a 996? If so, then I'm sorry he wasn't racing.

USMC850T
911, most likely not the S version, just plane jane 911 carrera.Boost gauge is autometer sport compact or something like that. I would advise against autometer, as mine along with an entire batch was defective.

Fishey
My 1995 993 Carrara is stock except a upgraded clutch and LSD.My 944S2 has no interior sound proofing (It was alot of freaking weight), Gutted trunk, Cab Weight Removed (Big 50lbs weight), A/C Delete, 18lbs seats (stocks are 55lbs), Manual Popup Headlights, Stereo Delete and all wires, Windshield washer resevior delete, manual steering, Exhaust system is all a hell of alot less weight, Gutted electric mirrors, alot of other minor stuff.Soon its time to go through the wiring harness and make windows/top manual only, remove all heat except defrost (custom setup), Carbon Hood, Carbon Dash/Custom Dash. 96R
I agree that they guy wasn't racing you or he's just a bad driver. I've driven a friend's 996 c4s (all wheel drive Sports model) and that thing will own a 13 second Volvo anyday. He has also driven my weekend car, a Z06Vette, so according to him that's the only thing that launches harder than his car.

Same with our 996 Targa (heavy glass roof), but it would still own.

It was a normal 911 carrera with 325 claimed Hp or so. Bad driver - maybe, but he was certainly racing.
