Bing_0
thanks guys real quick on the license plate issue, the reason why i pout it there is becuase the only other place i can put it and still make it useful for safety is in the bumper, and i am NOT about to deface my bumper with a camera hehei have insatlled prolly two dozen cameras over the past years or so, and i would asy a good 70 percent of them are the bullet type through the license plate, never have i seen or heard someone being pulled over for it...not saying its completely legal, but...i avoid drilling through any part of the numbers and letters, as far as i can tell, covering part of the california logo doesnt seem to be very bad, i see a lot of lisence plate frames covering most of that part, and many of hte license plate frames with built in camreas almost completely cover that part anyway, i am not going to worry about it...bi am a bit lost on the japanese comment? lol damn all of them asians! :monkey:

Zappo
I was looking into doing the same thing with a camera. I was also looking at the night vision ones, but didn't know of a good place to mount it on my car.

fastboy
Bing the install is looking fantastic and I hope it inspires a few people (like me ) to get off our butts and plan a sweet set up like that and actually build it. Looking forward to reading the future updates on this massive project.
prasamin
oh wow, the DQT install is dope! it would be cool if there was clear plexi over it so you could see it all the time, but I guess Bing's going for teh stealth.
Bing_0
i thought about plexi, but it would not be good cause:1. i cant acess it whenever i want, whcih is the whole reason why i put it there 2. like you said, stealth is the key in my own car i always definerly try to make sure form follows functionheheb
