crc1185
Hey bing... I have done a couple of stereo installs, but I'm looking to get into fabricating some stuff (sub boxes, kicks, etc.) Can I do some sub boxes for in the sides of my trunk using the same general steps you did for your kicks? (masking tape, fiberglass, dampening) Would you recommend using fiberglass mat rather than cloth?By the way, your install looks awesome!
Ivanfbi
You can build fiberglass box, but you will need to put more layers. If the place, where you are going to fiberglass is relatively flat, use cloth, if its really curvy, use mat. they make mounting rings out of 3/4 MDF and follow the procedure. You will need more than just the fleece also, like 2-3 more layers of fiberglass on top.

Bing_0
for side boxes, bsaicalyl think of it as a big kick panel...remember to mask it off liberally...and make SURE you dont pull the mold out until letting it full dry, fiberglass has a nasty habit to warp over certain temp changes, so just leave the mold in there for a good over night period before pulling it off b
