I'm Ashamed, I Just Bought A Sony Deck

If you still want to use your stock deck, I have a device which will let you plug your MP3 player inline with your antena cable. Then you can just sell the Sony on Ebay for $10. ;)

I've had a Sony LCD TV for a few years now. It's definitely a nice TV, but unfortunetly it's one of the few things they still do well.

How much will a connector like that cost me?

Booooooooo but hey for 4 bucks I'd throw it in my jeep. lol. I'm a big fan of the Premier series from Pioneer. Don't know why but just always like the durability and sound quality. Plus they have cool useless features like moving pictures on the tiny jerk screen.

+1 Ive had mine in 3 of my different volvos now, and my brothers old saab. Still runs like a champ after like 4 or 5 years and there isnt a cd it doesnt play.

i had kenwood as well, very nice

i've had my kenwood deck for about 6 years now, it's gone through 3 different cars and is in the 850 currently.. one of the first on the market with mp3 support, it still works like a champ but it seems to be wearing out slightly now.. it takes a while to spin up the cd's and actually read them if the weather is cold.

true that man stay away from sony, i like JVC better. had a JVC and it was the best, then we all know what happens when you have the best, it gets jacked. after that got a sony face plate and yea down hill from there. now in my s70 i have the stock one and it gets the job done just right. i probaly wont change it cause i dont want a big hole inbetween the radio and the rest of the dash. also dont need the extra wieght, a darn volvo has enough "fat" as it is. :P V4L!!!

If you don't care as much for the fancy screens and stuff Blaupunkt makes a nice quality HU, had one in my dad's truck for going on 5 years now, still works perfectly.

I have a JVC Arsenal series in my old truck, only about a year and a half old, but still works perfectly. Which i'm surpised about because it has a motorized faceplate.

I have JVC as well, the KD-ADV6160, but i am not completely happy with it, it takes a long time to read discs, but it plays DVDs

Sony Xplode is no good, I had several items and they all broke withing a year.

Ok i took it back. I'm just going to use an adapter that someone mentioned. I really didn't want to hack up my harness to put this thing in. I did just pick up a Harman Kardon DVD/ CD / SACD player for my home system though. pumped about that!

for $4 bucks you cant go wrong.

I beg to differ... hopefully he didn't, but it is deffinaltey to go wrong with 4$.

in fact, its probably more likely to go wrong with 4$ then with 400$.
