Asinine
The thought of using penetrating oil to debadge sounds really simple considering all the trouble i had with debadging my 854.Is that just a stupid bad call or what? Should i just tough it out with Goo Gone and a hair dryer?

leurven
On my 850 I pulled them off using floss or something and then used acetone to get the remains off. Didn't even damage the paint or leave any signs that there were badges there. I didn't even use a hair dryer.

emmick
I used an angled screw driver thingy with masking tape to protect my paint. Then I used a pinstripe remover to take off the residue. Those things are cool.
96PlatinumEdition850
It took me quite a while to remove all three badges but I used a hair dryer, fishing line, and some adhesive removed. The hotter you get the adhesive the easier it'll just rub right off with your hands. I was using some 1990 hair dryer that wasn't hot at all which added to my slowness but it's worth it and if you do it right after a good wash and wax you won't even see where the badges used to be. DO IT!

ViperVette
Took connor and I 15 minutes to De-badge my car, fishing line took off the plastic, then apply googone to a rag dab it on liberally, and use your thumb to rub off the adhesive... I don't understand how that takes an hour, or why you need a hair dryer.
