Vaccuum Elbows On A '00 Engine

I looked in Bay13 write up for vaccuum leaks and compared it to my car (2000 LPT) and things look a bit different as far as the elbow locations...at least they seem to be different. My intake manifold is different than the regular 98 and < manifold, and my car has ETM. I was havong a hard time locating the elbow by the power steering pump as described on Bay 13, and any other elbows for that matter...

I got the elbow kit from IPD and was oping to do it today...any suggestions/locations/pics of these things??

TIA :)

There's no elbow..

Has been changed to a banjo style connection underneath de manifold and also close to the powersteering pump.

It shouldn't bring the problems the old elbow did.

There are only 4 vacuum connections to the manifold. One is the big brake booster hose, a smaller hose on the engine side of the plenum cylinder no. 5 for the recirculation valve, there is a connection of the crank ventilation in the middle of the round collector above the throttle body and the earlier mentioned crank vent banjo connection.

Wow...thanks for the help Johann. Im going to have yet another look.

So, there are no elbows on these...just the hose and spring clip to keep it in place?

is the banjo fitting the little clamp on the ends of the hoses?

See if I can make a picture tomorrow of the banjo piece.

It's almost bedtime for me plus I don't have the parts near me.. ;)

Thanks Johann.

So the banjo connections is like the CIS fuel fitting on older VW's...cool!

So, now, are there any elbows on the car anywhere or is it all liek that...i was looking around and removed the air intake tube to the filter box, and was snooping around, and tried looking but I didn't find any anywhere. under the airbox maybe??
