For you guys who dont know I am Marketing Coordinator at Maxxis Tires, I am in charge of event sponsorship(NOPI, UROC, Formula D), driver sponsorship (too many to list), tradeshows (SEMA), and advertising (Sport Compact Car, Import Tuner, JP, OffRoad). My motorcycle counterpart just left to work for Scott in Sun Valley Idaho. Thats what got the wheels spinning, she is making a nearly double the amount we were being payed here for doing the same thing at another company. I may consider the PacNW but I have never been there, so that would be a real jump to consider it. But I will look at the jobs they have up and probably consider it now.

How about the South Florida are? Miami?

Live in Astoria, NY

Work in Manhattan

0:20 commute by train

1:40 by car

if you go to Texas, Austin is the only place (for me anyway)

Umm...cupcake, I thought we were moving to St. Batrz  I am not moving to stupid TX

I am but 19 years old, but I am wise in the ways of the world... I'm on Co-op, so I know about the whole working thing, and how if you don't have stuff to do outside of work... well you know, you can go insane. I live in Hoboken Currently, and the bar scene is rediculous(most bars per sq.mile in the country). Also having NYC right at your fingertips, talk about job openings for Marketing. Only problem is to live in Hoboken, rent is 2200$/month for a Sutdio... yea, I know. And parking is spotty at best(as will your bumpber be). Pretty much anything and everything is available around here, but its all about personal preference... If you want a fast passed lifestyle with tons of oppurtunity, NYC might be your best bet. I personally love it.

However, being a golfer myself, its one hell of a commute to the golf course... and driving ranges on the docks are like 14$ for a large bucket of balls and they are only 150 yards long, seperate rant right there... yea, all this IMO.

Tell you what, come out here for a weekend.....

5 hours from Whistler/Blackhomb aka the greatest ski resort in the world.

Seattle's a big Metro City, but it sure feels small.

From May to September temps are about 70-80, 20% humidity, nice breeeze off Puget Sound..

Lots of Marketing Opps here too.

that sounds nice^^

lol the TX guys are biased and the rest of the country is anti-TX what gives? THe best way to find out i say is line up interviews with companies and realtors to look at houses/apt. with all the places u want to go and go there, spend a week n see what atmosphere u feel suits you best. May get kinda expensive, but your unattached and look at it as an investment to your future.

+1 You can still check out GT in ACC play, and catch the occasional upset (if you're into college sports)

or even St Pete/Tampa area is pretty awesome

I have family in St Petersburg, I usually spend about a week a year in Florida for various reasons. Its fun to vacation in but not live. I have a buddy that can get me a job at Disney but I am not really interested in that either.

As for sports, thats one of the big reasons I am still here. I have season tickets to all the GT sporting events. Its going to be hard to watch the jackets from somewhere else. Especially since GT will make it to the dance next year. We picked up three new bad ass recruits for BB in this off season, including Muhammed Faye, someone most of you have never heard of, he will be a household name in the future.

^^^^ this right here is why you should go to LA or somewhere in So-Cal :) The whole sport compact trend started here, you definatley would have no shortage of work ;)

NYC is hellish on cars. If you plan on living in NYC just get rid of your car and utilize public trans...

CT is a nice place and not a bad commute to NYC near here.

There are jobs everywhere its just a matter of how you present yourself and or your resume presents yourself...
