tallahasseegreys
Seat heater no longer works on driver's side. I looked under the seat, and there are 2 wires that are not connected. One is red, one is red with white stripe. Can I just connect these 2 wires to the thermostat, without worrying about polarity}
Guest AlvinL
No polarity but curious why they're not connected.
ms007
Was the recall done if so it bypasses the thermostat in the seat
tallahasseegreys
The heater worked for like a year after I bought it. Then it quit. I assume that gravity caused the wires to become unconnected (it seems like the female ends plug UP onto the male ends, and friction holds them together)...or maybe I was poking around under there with the vacuum and accidentally caused them to disconnect.I'll reconnect and see what happens.
