MadeInJapan
Next check all of your vacuum hoses including your little elbows...the ones at the front left and right edge of the intake manifold.
CRK
More info still have the same code. Gas cap is new evap valve replaced New intercooler hoses New vac hoses Elbows on the manifold look and feel good Vaccum is ~ 21inch Boost is ~ 16 psi if I roll into it. If I floor the pedal it goes to 10 psi then climbs up to 16. It will hold 16psi to red line.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- When messing around with the evap valve I did get code P0444 which said exactly that >>>evap valve misfunction. The car has been running rich this whole time and MPG is around 19-19.5 With out taking stabs in the dark does anybody have an idea on to check next? smokin' T5M
Do you have the ability to pressurize the evap syst with a gauge? If you can clamp off the shut of valve hose that goes to atmosphere. Put a mild amount of air in the system towards the tank (Don't blow up the tank!) After you pressurize the tank see if you loose pressure. If you loose pressure there is a line that is leaking. Did it need the recall for the dampers on the tank? The fuel pump could be leaking through where the harness comes through at the top of the tank. There are hoses on top of the tank that can leak too. Have fun Sherlock :)
