Playboy
I know this is againsts the rules, but is'nt $5,000-$6,000 a wee bit high for a car that is not safe to drive? You could find a T5R/R that is actually safe and driveable for that price range.Good luck with the sale.I agree w/ you somewhat Pat but....the parts that are in that car are worth more than 5. Most of the cars you find laying around have double if not more mileage then this has on it.-Ryan
Patrick.
I agree with Pat.I know that the car could be parted for more (probably... but it might take a while to get the actual 5k out of it)but just like a modified car, you never get out what you put in, and the high price is just scaring people away.good luck though, I hope somebody with some money or welding skill can make a deal with you. Playboy
*bump*Had a buyer locally but he recently backed out. PRICED LOWERED TO $4,500ebay will be right around the corner for this thing and I'm sure it'll go for more than what I'm offering. I just hate ebay so thats why it will be a last resort if no one wants.-Ryan

I'm not sure what it would cost to be honest with you. Maybe someone who is good w/ welding (Chuck or a mod) can chime in to throw in there 2 cents. If someone is interested in the car and taking this avenue, let me know and I can make some phone calls if needed. I guess I pretty much assumed whoever gets this, would strip it.-Ryan

If it isn't, I'd just junk the car, well, I'd just do it anyways.. Only thing this is good for is parts.

Patrick.
NEEDS TO GO BACK AND READ F/S RULES! If you do it again I will then close all your F/S threads. Any problems, PM me.
gdizzle
I think the reality of the situation is this, no one is going to want to buy a car to part it out if they can barely break even. The only way you will be able to get anything remotely close to what you are asking is to part it out yourself, otherwise you are looking at a huge loss here. Just my $.02. ;)

Ya but what about someone Greg who is looking to build up a project car and have a perfectly good shell. This car has all the parts needed for that. Like I said, if I had the $$ I would take the engine and send it out and have it built up and start a project car but I just don't have the time or space to do this. To me, a person who is looking to do this, would be perfect for this transaction. I do however see where all of you are coming from and I do appricate (to an extent) your humble opinions.-Ryan

Playboy
Well, uh hope you're not in a hurry to get rid of it then. considering the place it's stored at right now is getting somewhat frustrated with me keeping it there, this car has to be sold within a month. I've pretty much written off a VS member buying this. It will go on ebay/autotrader soon if my tech or his associates don't pick it up.-Ryan
