Cali has a very special law stating that if you're swapping engine into your car, the engine MUST be from the same year or newer. That's why I couldn't get that 300 dollar R a while ago. I need a 98' or newer.I agree that it's gonna be a great loss. Besides, I want an engine and all the components, nothing else and I'm not interested in parting out a car either.I hope the lawsuit goes well for you. Have a friends contact for you to stay at his place. And look at train prices for the way back, ohhh wait, you could say on the way back your car broke down and the mechnic took the car as repayment for a loaner car you used while in the country since the car was to much to fix and not worth enough. And some mechnic could maybe write up some document stating this. And use several small electronic payments to transfer the money across the border to someone bank account.
