JCviggen Posted May 25, 2006 Report Share Posted May 25, 2006 Driving home in the dark at 50 mph, a cat was sitting on the left side of the road. So not in my path. It wasnt visible until the last second and I only had time to think "dont run to the right" but it didnt hear me think....the impact was pretty violent...i doubt there is damage to the car but I'll check tomorrow...some people are going to be sad tomorrow monkey Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

A few years ago I was driving a country road (fast) late at night and came upon a litter of kittens eating a dead racoon in the road. I am not partial to cats, ferrel little beastson a side note, about 2 years ago, one of our great farm dogs was out roaming at night, and some fucker hit her, and didn't even bother to stop and see what had happened. She died in the middle of the road. I found her the next day as I pulled out to go to work. I then spent teh next few hours picking her off the road and buring her in our berry patch nice and deep so nothing could dig her up. I still miss her, even though I love both of my new goldens soooo much. I would never even hesitate to find the owner of any domestic animal that I might hit and let them know and try to help.
