Killed Someones Cat Just Now :-(

while car shopping for my second car (my first was a 91 corolla) i found a black 850R about 2 hours from where i lived and convinced my parents to go look at it with me. While on the test drive we saw a dog in the middle of the road that had just been hit that was still twitching and stuff..... kinda put a downer on that car and my parents ended up getting me a NA s70 auto

Driving home in the dark at 50 mph, a cat was sitting on the left side of the road. So not in my path. It wasnt visible until the last second and I only had time to think "dont run to the right" but it didnt hear me think....the impact was pretty violent...i doubt there is damage to the car but I'll check tomorrow...

I've never hit any creatures running around at night in the car, but one time while on the motorcycle, a bird flew into the side of my helmet while I was doing about 35 mph. Scared the crap outta me. It kinda just dropped. This was on a not very busy neighborhood street, so I turned around, picked it up and laid it over in the grass. When I drove by about half an hour later, it was gone. I figure it woke up and flew off .

But yeah, I know I'd feel bad if I hit something in the car. I know I've come close before since I do most of my driving at night. HID's really help to illuminate creatures in the road though and I know I would've smacked a deer one night if it weren't for them.

one time i was driving home in my Lowered Toyota on one of the back roads in Oak Ridge and a Deer not only ran out in front of me, it ran out in front of me, then turned towards my truck and ran AT me. it went up on the hood, and slid into a fence, knocked that out and died.

i hate deer, thier crazy in my city. all the hunters that kill a deer in the outskirts of my city have to take them to get tested to make sure they arent"hot"(radioactive) every hunter i know has killed at least one "Hot" deer and had it taken away from him

Checked the car today in daylight, there's no trace of anything. I think the cat went under my left front tire at first and then hit the rear bottom of my car or a rear wheel. Thats what it felt like

That's how my old cat was killed. It sucks, if i could find the person who did it i'd hit them and keep going. Car parts can be replaced but a soul can't.
