I ended up having to give the camera to a friends of mine to get the video moved off the DV to a disk because my lap top wouldnt recognise the camera. When watching the videos, PLEASE keep in mind that they were put together by a TOTAL non car guy. I just asked him to get me the raw footage and I ended up getting a DVD with 6 different clips all with different effects but the music is pretty much the same throughout all of them. NataSS Inc Posted May 30, 2006 Author Report Share Posted May 30, 2006 cool video but i want some engine noise! what car is that in? and what kind of funky windshield wipers do you have on there? j/kI am tinkering with the raw footage and windows movie maker to get one with engine noise and a little background music.the car is a '86 corvette chassis with full cage, no interior, aluminum seats etc etc etc. Its a full blown race car.The "wipers" are supports for the lexan windshield. Its only about an "1/8 thick and weighs less than 2lbs. You have to have the supports to keep the windshield from caving in at speed. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Very difficult to watch with the CONSTANT EFFECTS going on. I am not part of the ADD generation, so the cut aways are extremely annoying. Its like he got a new software package and wanted to try out everything it would do, all in that video. There doesn't seem to be a clip that last more than 4 seconds before he tosses in another effect.Nice hand signals. Edit: Second video is SO much better.
