volvomachine Posted June 12, 2006 Report Share Posted June 12, 2006 you will definitly get more out of this if you fix up the R and sell it to someone on the forum or in your area....everyone is always looking for an R in good shape for a reasonable price!once you make the money from the R thats a couple grand more in your pocket to make your S70 up the potential you think it should be at. These deals are out there you just need to be in the right place at the right time. Granted the guy thought the AWD was messed up , it was just a wheel bearing. I got my 95 T-5R for about 3 thousand...5 months of perfection then randomly the engine breaksbut there is a HUGE difference between 300 and 3 thousand...And when I asked that question he made the car seem perfect no we are aware that the brakes don't work and the engine is probably monkeyed, so that is where my comment comes into play...when the Darn truth comes out Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Theres little chance the car would ever see the road again. Remember they dont make 850's anymore and someone would be very happy to get 1 in running condition.
