96PlatinumEdition850
That many misfire codes makes me think you got the plugs, wires and/or cap wet... Factory Volvo turbo plugs are platinum's. They work great.Nothing has gotten wet. I drove the car right after it rained and that's when the CEL came on but it was literally within 2 minutes of driving I can't imagine anything could have gotten wet. Water has never been sprayed on the engine or anything stupid like that. I don't know the age of the plugs that are in there now so theres no reason not to change the plugs when coppers are only $1.00 a piece and I'm going to change the oil as well. 96PlatinumEdition850
FR7DC Bosch Coppers are $2.50 at AdvanceAutoParts but that will suffice since I'm pretty sure the increased boost from MBC and shortened wastegate arm caused the misfire. zimmy77
I'm make sure you are at Stage 0.... if you still have misfires after that, I'd check your cylinder compression and maybe a coolant pressure test to see if you have a bad head gasket.... just to cover worst case senerios.
96PlatinumEdition850
Update: I went around town to find Bosch Coppers with no luck I found the equivalent of the Bosch FR7DC, the NGK Copper BKR6E. I was wondering if anyone knew anything good or bad about these? Let me know because if I have to I guess I'll order Bosch online.ThanksJeff

prasamin
those are one temp reading lower than the FDR7 ones. You will probably be okay, but I would just get some Autolite or equivalent coppers and gap them down a bit to see if that'll solve the misfire. 96PlatinumEdition850
Thanks will do. I noticed they were one temp lower than the Bosch but I wasn't sure if they'd be a huge problem. I know that means they're colder which for putting around is bad and I do that sometimes. Which Autolite would you recommend a copper with a 7 heat rating? 96PlatinumEdition850
I'll have to find an Autozone but I'll do it first thing tomorrow morning. Thanks Pras, I'll have them put my make/model in the computer and get the copper plugs. This should solve any misfire because I reset my CEL and it hasn't come back on in 24 hours of putting around and hard driving.
