Socal
I was poking around the house for leather cleaner, and I came across "pure" mink oil, which says it's silcone free. I've tried it on leather coats and shoes where it just soaks right in, but I'm wondering if this stuff will work on our leather upholstery. Seems like it might be a good way of preventing the leather from hardening and cracking, which seems to occcur with aging of these seats.

Socal
I do have some stuff from Griot's Garage that I like for regular use, but I'm thinking about getting Griot's leather restorer for softening up some of the areas that have become less supple from a lot of direct sunlight. I did a small test spot with the mink oil, but it wasn't absorbed the same way it is on coat leather. I'm going to check tomorrow to see if it's soaked in at all. I'm not real on having seats coated in a slick layer of mink oil heh.I did a little googling on mink oil, and it seems to be good for fine leathers. Apparently, it's made from the body fat of mink's... and is high in a fatty acid that is found the oil produced by human skin and in adipose tissue. Maybe there was something to the whole Fight Club thing after all
