prasamin
get an MBC and crank it up to 12 psi, watch the AFR's, though I don't think you'll do any damage with a 15g....stock on a HPT is 10-11 psi anyway.

JoshV70
lolgood luck running 17psi on the glt-engineyou'd be lucky to pull maybe 14-15 on the stock internalsWtf are you talking about. I've been running 18-19 psi on my LPT block with my 18t and am on a 205k mile block with stock internals. There isn't that much of a difference between the comp. ratios. 96PlatinumEdition850
I'm with Josh on this one. There are a couple guys on here with stock block and a 15G and I haven't heard of any trouble. It's a pretty easy swap which is why I told S70Turbo1999 that was should do the swap. If you can find a 15G for cheap, even just the hot side since your not swapping exhaust housings then you just allowed your car to be that much better. beachnut
Unless I'm missing something here, who cares about the stock downpipe being angled? You need an upgraded downpipe anyway. Why would you want to run a 17psi reflashed ST chip on a stock downpipe? Get a new downpipe, be it angled or straight, then you can run a 15G or 16T straight flange, or a 16T angled flange from an '01+ T5.
s70turbo1998
ill be getting the new downpipe and such in about a year, the chip will be the last mod i do before i go off to my first year of college, and when i come back, my first mods are going to be a cat back exhaust and downpipe. so i just want to chip it first so i can mess around a bit before i go to college, when i come back, ill finish it off
beachnut
Okay ... then either do a 15G housing swap like the others have said, but you can also try to find a 16T from an '01+ S60 T5 or V70 T5, they had angled flanges.
s70turbo1998
for now the 15G is all i can do, i got a real great deal on it and my funds are limited, otherwise believe me id be all over a 16T or more...
s70turbo1998
Huuuuuge bump but didn't want to start another thread...so quick question, plus this thread might help other LPT peoplethe turbo flange for a 15G is a v-band correct? not T3 or T4...
