96PlatinumEdition850
My friend has a 1999 Integra GSR Turbo which he runs 7psi right now. I've been saying I wanted to race him and last night I got my chance. We were coming back from 7-11 and there is a light that is usually always green but it leads down a 2 mile straight away and just my luck it turned red. He had his window down and said "Just your luck tonight" I laughed and we waited for the light to go green. I power braked to 2000RPM because I didn't want to spin off the start. The light turned green and my launch killed his, he chirped but didn't spin at the start. We raced up to about 110 and I had him by a couple car lengths as I could see him in my side view a little ways back. We pulled off on a side street and he said he didn't miss a gear and shifted perfectly and that it was a great race. Later on we were going back to 7-11 to meet some people and a friend said to race because he didn't see us the first time. We pulled out on to the same stretch and from a roll at about 40mph we did three honks and went. Of course 40mph is a death trap for our cars but I managed to stay at his read bumper till 100mph and I passed him. Also he started accelerating at the 2nd honk, not WOT but I could hear him and I called him out on it when we got to 7-11 and he admitted he did a little. Anyways I was happy my car did what it did. Also if it makes any difference I had a CEL from misfiring and I need my oil changed.Mods:Silicone vacuum hosesMBC @ 15psiCone filter::Edit:: Road was empty

Mogatu'r
Also if it makes any difference I had a CEL from misfiring .Yes it does, misfiring = no spark in the cylinder = no very good for turbo engines , other than that good kill!

TorqueSteer
Torque wins again Eh not really, thats just a poorly done turbo Honda, a properly done turbo honda would rape face on our measly Volvos for just a fraction of the price, i still prefer the sleeperness of the Volvo however. POOKDIZZLE
Hate to admit it but you are right I owned a 1997 cx hatch with a Jackson Racing Supercharger plus ECU and pulley upgrade and since it had no power options or AC that car did f'n rip. Oh yeah it had a 50 shot of nos as well.

96PlatinumEdition850
Well he's getting his car tuned and a new test pipe on and he'll probably start running a higher boost in which case he'll eat my face. I just did my plugs and my oil and I need to put my BOV on because I've got a leaky CBV and then I might pull on him even harder until he gets tuned. You guys just beat me to it! :D
96PlatinumEdition850
Honestly I wouldn't doubt it that it is horribly done. I couldn't really tell you though. But I was surprised when I beat him but it was definitely an ego booster. He bought the car off eBay the way it is and the guy didn't mention that the suspension was shot and the exhaust had a hole in it and some other stuff and just his luck the dudes dad he bought the car from is his families lawyer so the dad made his son give my friend the money for the exhaust/suspension. Anyways, you see where I'm going.
