850&S80 Posted June 21, 2004 Report Share Posted June 21, 2004 Hi,I hooked up XM radio in my 96 850 with the base SC-811 radio via the Blitzsafe adapter. The sound is terrific but the volume control doesn't work when listening to XM. All the other functions such as fade, balance treble and bass work but not the volume. To change the volume I have to switch back and forth from the radio to the CD button. It's a pain.I assume the volume works when a CD exchanger is hooked up!I even tried a replacement to the original Blitzsafe I installed, but no luck.Has anyone else had this issue?Thanks.
