tangodeltasierra3
Hi, i'm thinking of buying a Garrett Gt3271 turbo, apparently they are much cheaper than in the UK. Does any one have a supplier or contact that will ship to the UK at a great price, cheeRS.

JCviggen
Look at turbochargers.com too...or if you e-mail them you could get a slightly better price out of them too sometimes.
v6en
Hi TDS,Remember that when your turbo arrives in the UK you will have to pay VAT and import duty on it. For instance i bought a part from the USA and it cost £400 including shipping. To get it past customs cost me a further £100. So in some instances it will still work out cheaper to buy here in the UK.Jacq.
After_Shock
True but in that example the same turbo here would cost £800 theirfore saving £300 so always works out cheaper!

volvotuninguk
A word of caution - when buying stuff cheap from the USA, be aware that support will not be anywhere near as good as sourcing from the UK. If you have a problem with your turbo and need quick tech support or need to speak to someone face to face, you will struggle if you import from the USA.My advice would be to only import from the USA if you know what you are doing, ie you know exactly which turbo to go for, how it should be installed etc etc. If you get it wrong, it will cost you more than if you sourced it in the UK.Adam.
