lax01
before everyone starts sweating you, let me the first to say, I really do not like the hood...I'm sorry, its just too ricey, but this is your car and you can do whatever you want...other than that, I think the car looks great...nice Euro headlights with the newer grille and the Racing lipwhat kind of rims are those? Will
Hey, Cool 850. I think it looks awesome, I like the wheels. And the paint looks great, is it new?
BlackT5
Yes, please do tell us about the hood. just for show? I was going to ask if it was functional such that it fed into a modded intake/intercooler setup, but then I realized that the "scoop" is facing the wrong way I'm not a huge fan of graphics on cars, but yours are fairly subtle. It's something that sets it apart from other 850s, I like it.What mods have you done to the car, other than what we can see visually? Are those 18s or 19s you've got on there?Oh and welcome to the board!
freeskier8585
how much do those wheels wiegh
Marlboroman
The hood:It's funtional for 2 reasons. It lets out a lot of heat and therefore reduces the under hood temp a lot. Secondly it increases airflow in the engine compartment. The graphics:The only reason i have them is to set my car apart from all other black 850s. Black 850s are quite common here in Sweden...The mods:3" exhaust, bov, Piper Cross direct air kit, lowered 1,5", cf spark plug cover, strut brace, "R-sport" seat covers, horns relocated.-->lax01: I can agree that it's a bit ricey, but i like it. Never grille? It's a stock grille painted black, except for the frame with the emblem from a S40... The rims are Radius R6 (i think they're called Moda R6 in the U.S). They're 19*8"-->Will: Thanks. No it's the original paint.-->freeskier8585: Don't know.
freeskier8585
hey could you pop one off and wiegh it? other than the hood, its hot.... love the grill, what 3 inch do you have?
kenhoeve
Very nice. Personally, and board wide you won't find them, I'd lose the decals. The wheels are great, the hood is pretty subtle. On a drive by you probably can't even see it. Front spoiler is nice. Wheels are nice. Good job. Engine mods?19's?!? :o

Marlboroman
-->freeskier8585: Dare i ask why the weight is so important? I dont have a scale, so i can't weigh one. The exhaust comes from www.jt-tuning.se-->kenhoeve: I used to have a lot more decals before, but they disappeared when i changed sideskirts. I had plans for a serious engine mod. I have a Garrett T04E, ported intake with a bigger throttle body, ported exhaust manifold from a S60 T5 and bigger injectors (968). But all of that (and more) will be put in my new project.I wasn't planning to buy 19", but when these shoved up at a good price, i didn't hesitate.-->steve s: Same thing here. I have a black belt in hole and bump avioding. I've actually been pulled over for that. The cop thougt i was drunk...I also forgot one thing stylingwise that you dont se, i have a white brakelight in the wing.

ProjectT-5R
Did you do the hood? Or have somewhere do it, or a whole new hood. Also I love the wheels! We can't really see the wing light. I like everything but the decales. Are you lucky enough to have that be a 5spd. Also is this a Turbo, R, or T-5R?
