Considering finding a block and starting now but I still hope to keep my stock motor for a while.Please tell me what you think of the transmission? How does it shift? How does it drive around town? Actually I would like to know more about your car and motor build and stuff also. WhiteT5 Posted July 12, 2006 Report Share Posted July 12, 2006 Just like Camaros with really aggressive shift kits, they SLAM into gear when you're WOT. Shifts are fast, but they're hard and rough. That sounds like my car. Doesn't do it during regular driving though, just WOT. EDIT: Not like neck snapping rough, but much rougher than any other 850/70 series that I've been in/driven. I will search but if you have some links, gimme gimme gimme i think the transmission is greatshifts are firm when they need to be firm and smooth when just going around townit drives pretty much like a stock trans., but can just hold a lot more power . . .
