SpeedboxT-5
OK so Iwas looking at a HU from MB Quart. Its the NRA450. Its a nautical/marine HU, but would it work in a car? It is a CD/MP3/CDR/CDRW compatible with 3 5v pre-outs. I plan on running my Infinity basslink with it. Here are the specs: * Motorized detachable face * 50 x 4 Watt high powered built in amp * Built in AM/FM Stereo Tuner * Plays MP3 and WMA + CD and CD-R / RW * Displays song names and artist names for mp3 tracks * Nice Dot Matrix Multicolored Bright LCD Display (Easy to read at day or night) * Station naming * Built in sound tuning equalizer * Disc Titling for regular CDS * 3 Pairs of 5 volt Preamp outputs (This is one of the only boat receivers with 5 volt preamps) * Aux Inputs * Built in crossover * Cell Phone Muting feature * Free IR Remote included * Anti Skip Protection with memory * UV + PCD Coating * CD Changer ControlsOn ebay its only $150. Its supposed to be a $500 HU. I want to know if it will work in a car. I dont see why it wouldnt. Thanks in advance!

paulr
I have a marine HU in my other car (only because I had it laying around for a boat project that's been taking forever). Only difference is was it was Darn near impossible to make it skip . That's a nice HU, and if they can be had for $150, I think I'm going to grab one for the boat (30' Scarab) when I finally get back to that project... That HU has a LOT of features for a marine unit, and it looks good, too.
