copycat923
Things left on stage 0 silicon hose kit or RIP kit, doing PCV replacement this weekend if parts arrive on time. I have done wires, plugs, distributor, oil change(another one soon), Tranny flush, fuel filter, O2 sensor, and all new torque mounts. Also got some silicone vaccum hoses and replaced the main hoses I could find. (The one of the bottom of the turbo was an uber oh yeah!) What I want to do for my carCosmetic - R front bumper ~$500 after paint, Volans(no source yet) or 17' Pegs(being sold for 1000$+ship on board), Jewels~$700(viva)Performance - ECU upgrade, probably RICA maybe IPD, already ordered back up ECU but have not received yet. Cat Back Exhaust ($6-700 IPD or EST, Viva?) + Downpipe ($700-$1000), EST, VIVA. Possibly Viva intercooler drop in upgrade 1000$Suspension - Set of Koni's $560 @ IPD, Eibach or IPD/TME lowering Springs ($238-260) IPD anti-Sways ($360), qbm endlinks (Out of stock), possibly qbm bushing upgrade kit from IPD ($88) So basically I have to decide what to buy right now, I was all set on getting the ecu tuned and put in exhaust, but I got the add in the main about the east coast IPD garage sale and now I'm not sure what to do. They seem to have some good deals on stuff and I can get 10 percent off ECU and 20 percent off Exhaust i believe, along with 10 to 20 percent off suspension components. Also those rims and tires for sale seem pretty sexy, and I didn't want to get 18's and have to deal with all the fitment issues. I have always thought I would do performance then suspension then cosmetic but now I'm wavering on going with suspension first due to the garage sale, but maybe I have enough money saved to do both at once, not really sure. Any thoughts suggestions on which upgrades I should do with this lump of cash?

Che'_Moderator
See if you can swing new rims and tires for 2k and some clear turn signals. When you have more money I would go for new suspension then chip
Volvoson
Well, if you want to do performance mods, an intercooler and exhaust would be a good place to start for noticable gains. For cosmetic, wheels/tires shouldn't cost you any more than ~1500 (worst case scneario), so that leaves the 500 for a new front bumper or suspension. I would do the wheels/suspension first, that way you have a bit more time to "learn" the car before adding a bit more power and getting yourself into trouble :P

The palce to start is with an intercooler and indexed spark plugs. And tires and wheels should never cost more than 1500....... Its not like we want quality or anything!/smart ass responce. Its not like we want quality or anything!/smart ass responce.Only way to spend $1500 on wheels/tires is to go to the stealership to buy some That's why I said "(worst case scenario)" 17" Pegs are cool, but tbh, I just can't stand the look of them on the 850, they seem too small... ViperVette
18" pegs w/ tires and your lookin' around 1600 new. then get some lowering springs, and then tint the windows. It'll look great, and you can work on the other stuff later!
Swedish Mike
m56 swap./threadAgree, after that a 19T kit. Performance in first hand! After the engine mods I would buy rims and suspension. This is (by the book) wrong order but it´s soo nice to ride a fast sleeper for a while. /Mike
