Bing_0 Posted June 23, 2004 Report Share Posted June 23, 2004 i would immediately take out, vibe, audiobahn, soundstorm out of hte equation.aside from those, i would say kenwood dont relaly make any great sounding speakres.jbl's upper line is pretty good, as is alpine's upper line, but htey are gnerally a bit pricey.infinity imo makes a good product for cheap in the reference series, and a okay sepaker in the kappa and kapaa perfect line.JL audio, along with crystal, makes great sounding speakres up and down their line...so of course i would say these two...but as you say, they arnet avaible in iceland.so...out of those avabailable in iceland, if you plan to just use stock headunit power, i would say infinity reference, if you are going to use an amp, i would say a toss up between alpine type R and infinity kappa...b Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If you're looking at the base infinities look also at the polk's, similar midbass with a less harsh tweeter. Although I would still prefer Alpine over both of them.Also I vote IDQ subs, but I have heard form others that the crystals sound pretty darn good, just haven't been able to listen to them yet.
