Joe Mc Posted July 4, 2006 Report Share Posted July 4, 2006 Did a search and found:S/C&V70 Service Light Reset Procedure for 1999 & 2000 models1) Turn the ignition switch to position I (off).2) Only the SRS indicator light is illuminated on the dash panel.3) This is a two handed process. While pressing the trip mileage reset button turn the ignition switch to position two. The service light will begin to flash in15 to 30 seconds, as soon as it flashes release the reset button.4) Turn the ignition switch off. The service lamp should now be reset.I will try today to see if it's same for 01. But, just in case it's not I figured I'd ask first. MadeInJapan Posted July 4, 2006 Report Share Posted July 4, 2006 '01's and beyond are different:Volvo 2001 - XC 70 Models* The following steps must be completed with no longer than 5 seconds between each step:* Make sure the trip meter is in T-1* Turn ignition key to position 1* Press and hold trip meter button until zero is shown* While still holding the trip meter, turn key to position 2* When original trip mileage returns, release the trip reset button* Turn key to off Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
